Low Inventory Holding Buyers Back

The National Association of Realtors® says low inventory, particularly at lower price points, is holding back buyers. January's 5.38 million sales pace is the lowest in three years, and pace continues to be slow into summer.

New Real Estate Legislation in Virginia

The Virginia General Assembly has passed legislation affecting real estate agents and their clients during the 2018 legislative session. All measures summarized in the link below were signed into law by Governor Ralph Northam (D), and unless otherwise noted, take effect July 1, 2018. – Northern Virginia Association of Realtors ® / Josh Veverka & Mary Beth Coya

The General Assembly – among other things – better defined real estate teams and is requiring Condo and Property Owner Associations to provide a short summary on a form of all important information contained in the resale certificate or disclosure packet.
